Elton Chan, D.D.S.
Dr. Elton Chan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan and Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2004. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Chan completed his pediatric residency in 2006. He received his specialty certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from New York University, where he served as Chief Resident and was clinical faculty to dental students. Dr. Chan also has hospital training from Rose F. Kennedy Hospital, NYU Tisch Medical Center, Lutheran Medical Center, and Bellevue Hospital where he treated children under general anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and IV and conscious sedation.
Dr. Chan is an active member of various professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, New York State Dental Association and the New York County Dental Society.
Dr. Chan is fluent in both English and Cantonese. He is married with two children and loves to play golf.
Berni Tang, D.D.S.
Dr. Berni Tang received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from the University of Toronto. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree with high honors (top 5 %) in 2004, as well as her pediatric specialty training at New York University College of Dentistry in 2006. During her specialty training, she was also clinical faculty to dental students. Dr. Tang has hospital training from Rose F. Kennedy Hospital, NYU Tisch Medical Center, Lutheran Medical Center, and Bellevue Hospital. She has extensive experience in treating children under Nitrous oxide and conscious sedation.
Dr. Tang is an active member of various professional organizations including the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (Omega Chapter), American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Tang was born in Vancouver and spent her school years in Canada and Hong Kong. Her interests include ice skating where she skated competitively in Hong Kong. Dr. Tang is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She is married with two children and enjoys swimming and playing the piano.
Jennifer Chou, D.M.D.
Dr. Jennifer Chou received her Bachelor of Arts in Medicine, Health and Society from Vanderbilt University and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania where she was awarded the Henry B. Robinson Award in recognition of the graduate with highest proficiency in clinical dentistry. She received her speciality certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Columbia University where she helped to teach dental students in Pediatric Dentistry. During her time at Columbia, she also received hospital training from New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she treated children under general anesthesia, IV sedation, oral conscious sedation, and Nitrous Oxide sedation.
Dr. Chou is an active member of various professional organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the New York County Dental Society, the New York State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Chou was born in Illinois and lived in Taiwan for several years as a child. She is fluent in English and Mandarin and her interests include practicing yoga, visiting local coffee shops, and traveling with her husband.
